🔗 Share this article Hulu to Bring a Far Cry TV Show from the Creators of Alien: Earth and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The newest action-packed game that players explored was Far Cry 6, which starred Giancarlo Esposito as the antagonist, Antón, and was released on October 6, 2021. As a series, it is famous for delighting in action and mayhem with the same glee, all while presenting gripping, ideologically themed narratives. Little surprise that FX's new order for a Far Cry anthology series attracted two creators whose work have exemplified all of those elements. About the Series Adapted from Ubisoft's successful video game franchise, the self-contained anthology series will stream on Hulu and is being made by FX Productions. The anthology will also mirror the video games' structure by featuring a different location and cast of characters in each season. Key Producers Rob Mac, mastermind of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Noah Hawley, the visionary behind FX's Alien: Earth and Fargo, will serve as lead producers on the series via their labels, More Better Productions for Mac, and 26 Keys for Hawley. They will be partnered by Emilia Serrano for 26 Keys, Nick Frenkel for 3 Arts, Jackie Cohn for More Better Productions, John Campisi, Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, and Austin Dill for Ubisoft Film & Television. We’ve shared excellent partnerships with Rob Mac and Noah Hawley for a collective six series and 32 seasons of television, and we are overjoyed that they are joining forces for Far Cry,” said Nick Grad, President, FX Entertainment, in a announcement. “I have no doubt that they will present this story in a way that is original, engrossing, and extremely entertaining. We also want to appreciate our associates at Ubisoft for entrusting us with this popular property.” Upcoming Developments Mac will also feature in the show, but at the time of writing, we do not know what part that could be. Hawley's Alien: Earth was not long ago approved for more episodes, with FX and Disney agreeing to a new comprehensive agreement with the producer. “Being able to collaborate with Noah Hawley is a fantasy come true,” remarked Rob Mac. “Ubisoft has been remarkably generous, trusting us with one of the most renowned video-game realms ever created. And along the way, my FX partners always encourages me with their constant confidence and backing.” “What I love about the Far Cry game series is that it’s an anthology show. Every instalment is a take of a idea, the same way every run of Fargo is a adaptation on a story,” noted Hawley. “To produce a large-scale action show that can shift from year to year, while always delving into the core of people through this intricate and unpredictable lens, is a long-held aspiration. I’m excited to work with Rob and bring our mutual irreverent, ambitious sensibility to the television.” A release window for when we can look forward to the new Far Cry show has not yet been revealed. The series will stream on Hulu in the United States and on Disney Plus globally.
